Watch: Manchester City wonderkid Patrick Roberts scores and sets up two goals for Celtic

Could Manchester City have a ready-made replacement for the outgoing Jesus Navas already on the books? Signed from Fulham for a considerable fee in 2015, England youth international, Patrick Roberts, is in the final days of a long-term loan stint at Scottish champions, Celtic.

Roberts, who turned 20 last month, has been in and out of Celtic’s team but his potential is undeniable. If he can develop his all-round game, City could have a gem on their hands. And today against Hearts, the young attacking midfielder has shown his abilities, scoring today and setting up a brace of goals for former City man, Scott Sinclair, in as many minutes.

The weight on Roberts’ pass for Sinclair’s first goal was delicious, shades of David Silva, and he again found Sinclair with a lovely through-ball moments later for a second assist. Later in the match, Roberts found the net with a delicious strike.
