We’re approaching the end of March, a mixed month in which Manchester City progressed to the semi-finals of the FA Cup and were unbeaten in the Premier League, but were sent crashing out of the Champions League by Monaco.

With all that in mind, who was your player of the month? We’ve narrowed it down to four candidates, but if you have another, please leave a comment.

David Silva – Like a fine wine, the 31-year-old seems to be getting better with age. He has been in some of his best form in years, pulling the strings and dictating play in City’s midfield. He scored one and assisted one in March, while also performing well in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

Leroy Sané – The German wunderkind had a prolific month, in which he scored three goals and set one up. After a difficult start to life in Manchester, he has exploded on to the scene to become one of football’s most exciting young talents.

Sergio Agüero – The City hero is receiving a lot of criticism this season and admittedly he has had some patchy performances, but in March he scored five goals and set another one up. Few are as good at finding the net as Kun, even when he isn’t having his best game.

Willy Caballero – From zero to hero, Willy was something of a comedy figure before his famous series of saves at Wembley won City the Capital One Cup last year. That seemed to have a psychological impact on the 35-year-old and he is now City’s number one, enjoying some great form. He kept clean sheets against Sunderland and Stoke, but was also impressive in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool.

We could only pick four names, but an honorable mention goes out to John Stones for his improvements of late. So, who is your player of the month for March? Please vote and we’ll announce the result at the end of the month.
