Manchester City vs. Liverpool: Starting Lineups & TV Information

Few teams have given Manchester City more problems of late than Liverpool. Other than our memorable win on penalties in the Capital One Cup final last year, it is four Premier League defeats on the bounce to Liverpool, whose pressing tactics under both Jürgen Klopp and Brendan Rodgers have given the Blues problems.

Earlier this season, City were beaten 1-0 at Anfield and will hope for some revenge today in a battle between two teams aiming for Champions League qualification. City are fresh off a harrowing defeat to Monaco in the Champions League and if the words of Bacary Sagna are true, will look to react to that defeat.

Today’s referee is Michael Oliver and here are the teams selected by Guardiola and Klopp:

Manchester City XI: Caballero, Fernandinho, Stones, Otamendi, Clichy, Yaya Touré, Sané, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Agüero

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Matip, Klavan, Milner, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Coutinho, Firmino

Today’s match can be viewed on Sky Sports 1 in the UK. A full list of TV coverage from around the world can be found here.
