It’s time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

First off, the big news is that there finally appears to be a time-frame for Gabriel Jesus’ return. The Sun are reporting that he is scheduled for a ‘remarkable’ return against Arsenal for the FA Cup semi-final.

Elsewhere, it is being reported that the Manchester Derby will be played on a Thursday. The match is set for a likely evening kick-off on 27th April accroding to Simon Mullock and Mark Ogden.

Manchester City have a gentleman’s agreement with Benfica over the transfer of Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson (23). However, Ederson’s new deal last year included a 51 million release clause.

According to The Sun, Manchester City had scouts attending Borussia Monchengladbach’s game against Schalke to watch 21-year old midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud. City are reportedly ahead of Liverpool in the race for the German and see him as a ‘midfield sitter’

Finally, following City’s Champions League exit to Monaco, Pep Guardiola fired back at some of his critics and highlighted his “exceptional” managerial record.
