Manchester City and Manchester United set to battle it out in the International Champions Cup

Manchester City and Manchester United are set to battle it out in the USA in a pre-season tournament, along with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Tottenham and Juventus.

The encounter would see the first Manchester derby played on foreign territory after poor conditions forced a planned friendly game in China in 2016 to be cancelled.

The two Manchester clubs will battle it out in the International Champions Cup in San Diego, with the Manchester derby reported to be taking place on the 25th July.

According to numerous outlets, Pep Guardiola and Manchester City are looking at training camps on the east coast of America rather than San Diego and will fly to any pre-season friendlies in America from there.
