“We’ll see tomorrow.” Monaco coach coy on whether star forward will start against Man City

Will he or won’t he? That has been the question in France since Monaco forward Radamel Falcao limped off during Monaco’s weekend win over Bordeaux.

Falcao himself said he would be fit to face Manchester City on Wednesday night, but coach Leonardo Jardim was more cautious, saying he “hoped” the 31-year-old goal machine, who found the net in the first leg, would be ready.

Speaking at Monaco’s pre-match press conference moments ago, Jardim gave an update, telling the press, “Falcao feels better. I don’t know if he’ll start the match. We’ll see tomorrow.”

Again, the 42-year-old trainer was coy on whether Falcao will start, and may be trying to confuse his counterpart Pep Guardiola as the City boss prepares for European football’s most potent strikeforce of the current season.

Even if Falcao misses the cut, Monaco boast goals from all over, having banged in 84 in Ligue 1 alone. But as shown in the first leg, Manchester City are just as capable of scoring freely, having put five past Danijel Subašić at the Etihad.

Tomorrow promises to be another exciting goal-fest – be sure to check out City Watch’s match preview as the build-up continues!
