Manchester City are monitoring the situation of Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez after there were reports of a bust-up with manager Arsenal Wenger, according to the Telegraph.
Alexis Sanchez will have just 12 months left on his Arsenal contract come summer and there’s no sign that he is set to agree a new one any time soon. Reports surfaced yesterday that the Chilean forward has had a falling out with boss Arsene Wenger which left him on the bench for Arsenal’s game against Liverpool at the weekend.
As a result, Manchester City are said to be monitoring the situation at Arsenal and may consider a summer swoop for a player that Pep Guardiola managed for one season at Barcelona, and his contract situation may significantly reduce any fee that Arsenal will demand.
However, Pep Guardiola’s men will face strong competition from both PSG and Juventus if they are to get Arsenal’s star man, with PSG reportedly leading the chase.
