Manchester City are closely monitoring Roma youth striker, Luca Petrungaro, according to an exclusive report by Italian news portal Tuttomercatoweb.
The 17-year-old has represented his country at under-17 level and according to TMW, both City and noted talent-spotters Red Bull Salzburg are showing interest in the player, who scored two goals in his last league match against Frosinone.
He was observed by scouts during the Alkass International Cup in Qatar and made quite an impression, putting him on the radar of the Premier League and Austrian Bundesliga clubs.
City are stacked with talent at academy level, but are always looking to add talented young players at every age group and Petrungaro could be another to soon ply his trade at the City Football Academy if scouts recommend a bid is made for the striker.
As reported earlier today, City are said to have signed highly-rated right-back Richard Dionkou from Real Mallorca in Spain.
