Kun Aguero played a cameo role today and watched on as Gabriel Jesus shone in the spotlight once again, scoring two goals to down Swansea City.

The emergence of the 19-year-old, who seems to perfectly fit the criteria of what Pep Guardiola wants in a striker, has raised some questions over the future of the iconic Aguero, with some reports suggesting he could leave in the summer.

Kun’s agent, Hernán Reguera, has been quick to play down speculation that his client could leave the Etihad.

And now the man himself has spoken, telling the press after today’s win that he wants to stay, but will see what the club wants come the end of the season.

In the years after he joined City, many fans feared that his stay could be limited, with Real Madrid linked in virtually every transfer window, but now the question may be “Do City want to keep Aguero?” more than “Does Aguero want to stay at City?”.

Most City fans would undoubtedly love the 28-year-old, scorer of the most famous goal in Premier League history, to continue his story in Manchester, but the final decision is sure to lie with Pep Guardiola, who has a history of making controversial choices when redesigning his squads.
