Manchester City charged by The FA in relation to rules on Anti-Doping

Manchester City and FA charges are becoming a regular occurrence this season, and the latest has come out of nowhere.

The FA has released a brief statement, announcing that City have been charged in relation to The FA’s Rules on Anti-Doping. Specifically, City failed to ensure that their ‘Club Whereabouts’ information was accurate.

The statement in full reads:

Manchester City have been charged in relation to The FA’s Rules on Anti-Doping.

It is alleged the club failed to ensure that their ‘Club Whereabouts’ information was accurate, contrary to Regulation 14(d).

City have until 19 January 2017 to respond to the charge.”
