Manchester City starlet Manu García recently cut short his loan to La Liga side Deportivo Alavés after a disappointing lack of game time following his move from the Etihad last summer.
It was the talented playmaker’s first loan switch away from City, where he has already made four first-team appearances, including one in the Premier League against Aston Villa in 2015.
The 19-year-old today flew out from Manchester for his next loan destination, which is expected to be City partner club NAC Breda, where Brandon Barker, Ashley Smith-Brown and Thomas Agyepong are already stationed.

David Faupala was also loaned to NAC, but like Manu in Spain, struggled for game time and had his loan deal cut short.
NAC chief John Peek recently admitted that while the Dutch second-tier side are happy with their partnership with City, the current loanees are ‘not working’. The arrival of García, one of City’s more highly-rated prospects in his age group, should boost NAC’s chances of promotion to the top-flight.
The deal is yet to be confirmed, but local sources in Breda are certain it will happen and Manu has followed the club on Twitter. A move to a lower level should guarantee him weekly football, something the young playmaker needs to continue his development.
