Every month, Manchester City are linked with wonderkids from many different countries, with scouts dispatched all over the world, and according to L’Equipe, one of France’s most promising talents is on the radar.
17-year-old PSG forward Moussa Diaby has two goals in three games in the UEFA Youth League this season, and struck yesterday against Basel in that competition.
His form has not gone unnoticed by City scouts, with Italian giants Juventus also monitoring the France youth international.
Diaby was recently called up by France’s under-18 side and scored on debut against Russia earlier this month, in addition to registering two assists in the Limoges tournament.
Paris-born Diaby is under contract with the French champions until June 2018, so any attempts by City and Juventus to prise him away from PSG will be difficult, but it is reported that their scouting of the teenager has intensified recently.
City have another French youth international on the books in the form of 19-year-old Thierry Ambrose, and he could be joined by Diaby if City step up their interest in the coming months.
