Referee appointed for Tottenham Hotspur vs. Manchester City

It’s 1st vs. 2nd this weekend as Premier League leaders Manchester City head to White Hart Lane to face Mauricio Pochettino’s in-form Tottenham Hotspur.

Match appointments have been confirmed by the Premier League for this big clash, and it will be Andre Marriner who takes charge of the game.

Marriner’s last Manchester City game ended in controversy as he claimed to have not seen an elbow by Sergio Aguero on West Ham’s Winston Reid, leading to a retrospective three-match ban for the City star.

City’s 3-1 win over the Hammers is the only game featuring the Blues that 45-year-old Marriner has been tasked with this season – until now.

This weekend’s match officials in full:

Referee: Andre Marriner
Assistants: S Beck, A Garratt
Fourth official: J Moss
