Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Yaya Touré will not play for Manchester City again until the club receives an apology from his camp.
Yaya Touré’s agent has built up a reputation as an outspoken member of the football community, with constant jibes at Manchester City and multiple attempts to get his client a better deal elsewhere – but Pep isn’t having any of it.
In his press conference this afternoon, Pep Guardiola told the awaiting media that Yaya Touré will not feature in his plans again until the club receive an apology from his entourage.
Touré was left out of Pep’s Champions League squad, which he insists was a tough decision but one he felt completely necessary as a result of Seluk’s comments to the press. After which, Seluk opened his mouth again:
Dimitri Seluk: "if City don't win the CL then I hope that Pep has the balls to say that he was wrong to humiliate a great player like Yaya."

After years of taking the mick, Seluk has met his just desserts as Pep won’t take any of it. The situation is clear – Yaya Touré will not play another minute for Manchester City unless the club receives an apology.
