It’s been a very busy day on the City front and it’s time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

City face Swansea tomorrow evening in the English Football League Cup, and they will wear their new third kit, which was announced today:

On the 2nd October City head off to White Hart Lane and they will face a side that is missing Harry Kane after he was ruled out for 6-8 weeks due to an injury sustained against Sunderland:

Hector Bellerín to City? According to the Mirror, City are confident that they can bring him to the Etihad as the player is yet to commit his long-term future to Arsenal:

Yaya Touré hasn’t featured often this season, however he has taken the decision to retire from international football:

And he won’t feature for City against Swansea either – Vincent Kompany has a chance and 17-year-old Brahim Diaz is in the squad:

As well as Brahim Diaz, other City youngsters have travelled with the first-team to Swansea – Tosin Adarabioyo, Pablo Maffeo, Aleix García and Angeliño:

Why isn’t Yaya playing a part this season? Pep Guardiola gave us the reason during his press conference today and insists the midfielder will not feature for City unless his agent issues an apology to the club:

Swansea are reported to be planning on making eight changes for the game tomorrow which could see a full debut for new signing Borja Baston:

And finally, because of the double header against Swansea, City have decided to base themselves in Wales all week to prepare for those games and the Celtic match next week.
