Manchester City youngster Oleksandr Zinchenko was given a tour of PSV Eindhoven’s impressive facilities earlier today. City’s £1.7 million signing from FC Ufa impressed for Pep Guardiola’s side in pre-season, showing plenty of promise, but with such an abundance of talent in the attacking midfield area, a loan was the best short-term solution for his development.
Ukraine international Zinchenko looked impressed as he was guided around PSV’s Philips Stadion, saying he liked the ‘compact’ feel of the place. “I think this is a fantastic club,” the 19-year-old said, adding, “Many superstars began at this club. For me, it’s very important that every match, it’s a full stadium.”
City fans will not be as happy to learn what Zinchenko’s favourite colour is, though.
