Sinan Bytyqi becomes NINTH Manchester City player to move to Holland this summer

The Netherlands is quickly becoming Manchester City’s destination of choice for many of its promising young players to develop. Days after Bersant Celina headed to FC Twente on loan, 21-year-old attacker Sinan Bytyqi today joined another Eredivisie side, Go Ahead Eagles, on loan for the season.

Speaking to the Go Ahead Eagles official site, Bytyqi said:

“Guardiola recently said he had enjoyed having me in pre-season training and it would be good for my development if I went to a top European league.

“Go Ahead Eagles is an ideal club. The club plays in the Eredivisie, plays attractive football and has fanatical fans. For me, three very important things as a footballer.”

Bytyqi is now the NINTH City youngster in the Netherlands, with five in the top flight and four in the second tier with CFG partner club, NAC Breda. Shay Facey is expected to make that number ten when his move to Heerenveen is confirmed.

PSV Eindhoven: Oleksandr Zinchenko
FC Twente: Enes Ünal, Bersant Celina, Yaw Yeboah
Go Ahead Eagles: Sinan Bytyqi
NAC Breda: Brandon Barker, Ashley Smith-Brown, David Faupala, Thomas Agyepong
