Manchester City new boy set for PSV Eindhoven loan switch

Oleksandr Zinchenko has made a good impression since joining Manchester City from FC Ufa for £1.7 million this summer. In his several pre-season appearances for Guardiola’s side, he looked technically gifted and well-suited to Pep’s brand of football.

Unfortunately for the Ukraine international, City are currently loaded with talented attacking midfielders so, for the time being at least, his best route to weekly football seems to be a loan move. Since the season started, he has not even appeared on the bench for City.

19-year-old Zinchenko has been linked with Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven several times this summer and according to Ukrainian news source, Football24, he is finally close to joining them on loan.

The Eredivisie is famed for being a great league for young players to develop in, and PSV are top of the pile there with Champions League group stage football also guaranteed this season.

The loan deal will be made official in the coming days according to Football 24.
