Joe Hart is set to move on loan to Everton once City confirm the signing of Claudio Bravo, according to the Mirror.
The 29-year old would prefer to stay in the Premier League during this season rather than moving abroad which puts Everton in pole position to snap up the unwanted goalkeeper.
Hart has been City’s number one in recent years but his position was put into jeopardy with the arrival of Pep Guardiola from Bayern Munich, who likes to play out from the back and as a result prefers Willy Caballero.
City are reportedly very close to completing a deal for Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo which would make Willy Caballero number two and Joe Hart redundant to Pep’s plans. Once the Bravo deal is complete, it is expected that Pep Guardiola will sanction Hart’s loan move to Joe Hart – if they match his wage demands of £120,000 per week.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Everton would ideally like to have three goalkeepers:
“We need three goalkeepers. We have Joel Robles, we have Maarten Stekelenburg, we have a young goalkeeper. It’s all about the decision that we need to make.
“That’s not for the media. We need to keep that inside. Those kind of decisions we will make inside the club.”
