After an incredibly busy day of City news and rumours, we are here to give you your daily round-up of everything that’s been going on.

Pep Guardiola’s well documented love of Leo Bonucci continued to be the talk of the press today, who described him as ‘obsessed’ with the Italian centre-half.

Although, Guardiola may be set for heartbreak, as the ever-reliable Di Marzio reports that Bonucci is going nowhere.

In more upbeat news, the transfer of Leroy Sané looks to be edging closer to completion, as Schalke’s sporting director gave us a much needed update on the progress of the deal.

Those quotes come after Carlo Ancelotti ruled Bayern Munich out of the running for the exciting German winger.

Another man who looks to be on his way to the Etihad is John Stones. Despite a lack of recent news regarding the deal, the Everton defender was spotted shopping in Manchester today.

Onto a new rumour now, as France Football link City to Algerian attacker, Riyad Mahrez.

With a move for Leroy Sane nearing completion, it is hard to see a space for Mahrez. This rumour from Goal however, if accurate, may open up some room for the skilful Leicester forward.

City have also made a move for West Ham youngster, Reece Oxford. The Telegraph claim that City made official contact with ‘The Hammers’ last night, whilst Sky Sports News have backed up this story.

A young defender who may be on his way out of the club is Jason Denayer. The Belgian centre-half was linked with a move to Arsenal last night, whilst Turkish Futbol have linked him with a move back to Galatasaray.

Wantaway young striker Tyrese Campbell has been linked with a move to Holland. The son of former footballer, Kevin Campbell, has previously been rumoured to be close to a move to West Ham.

In other news, the squad list for the pre-season tour of China has been released. Kelechi Iheanacho has VISA issues which may be sorted in time, whilst Kevin de Bruyne, Bacary Sagna and Eliaquim Mangala have all been given extra time off, after their respective countries advanced to the latter stages of Euro 2016.

The Sun have also somehow managed to find out some of the details regarding Pep’s salary.

And there we have it, the end of a very busy day of City news. Be sure to keep informed with all things City during the day here and on Twitter at @City_Watch.
