According to The Sun, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are keen to complete a deal for Schalke wonderkid Leroy Sané by tomorrow afternoon.
However, it might not be as easy as that, with Bayern Munich currently providing a stumbling block for the transfer. Bayern are rumoured to have put in a last minute offer to try and bring the 20-year-old to the Allianz Arena which would mean that Schalke could keep their man until the end of next season.
Bayern’s offer will be similar to that of City’s £40 million offer and will also include first refusal on players if Schalke refuse to sell to City this season.
Pep Guardiola though wants the deal completed by Wednesday and City have reportedly been in talks with Sané’s agent since yesterday in order to finalise negotiations.
