Manchester City and FC Ufa have agreed a deal for exciting Ukrainian talent Oleksandr Zinchenko, report Sport Daily.
It is a deal that has been rumoured for a while, with the Russian source now saying that the two clubs have a complete agreement that won’t be impacted even if 19-year-old Zinchenko has a great Euro 2016 campaign playing for Ukraine.
Zinchenko’s move to City is ‘almost a done deal’. The midfielder has also been wanted by Borussia Dortmund, but will instead join Pep Guardiola’s side. No fee is mentioned, nor whether City’s plans are to use him right away or send him out on loan. It’s possible that obtaining a work permit could be an issue, forcing City to loan him out initially.
