2012: City take a huge step towards their first Premier League trophy, beating rivals Manchester United 1-0 at The Etihad in what was billed as a title decider. City skipper Vincent Kompany scored the only goal, powering a David Silva corner into the net. This momentous victory meant City needed two wins from their last two games to clinch the title.
