City Summary – April 13: Champions League, Kompany and Sterling close to returns, Bale to Manchester?

Time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

Well, well, well… Manchester City, Champions League semi finalists – feels good, doesn’t it? Today started with the knowledge that we had secured a place in the final four after a 1-0 win over PSG last night. We have since been joined by Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid.

Aguero was a happy chappy after the victory:

Injury news? Well, it wouldn’t be a day as a City fan without it, and Pellegrini remains hopeful that Vincent Kompany will return in time for this weekend’s visit to Stamford Bridge:

However, the skipper himself isn’t so confident:

Talking about Kompany, his agent insists that he won’t be sold by Pep Guardiola, pheeewww…

There’s some good news on the injury front though, with Raheem Sterling being “way ahead of schedule” for his return, and he could even be in the squad for Saturday:

Fancy a laugh? Of course you do, and yet again it’s come from UEFA’s ridiculous pettiness. Would you believe it?
